Frank Podlaha, President
Frank started Carp Data Service with the vision of bringing easy-to-use Data Analysis / Business Intelligence software to any business. With over eightteen years of software experience, Frank specializes in database and front-end applications. He has worked for premier firms like Gartner Group and Deloitte. And no stranger to start-ups, he also was a vital part to the success of newcomer Link2Gov Corp., recently purchased by Metavante.
Frank grew up in a small Connecticut town, but shed his New England surroundings as a young man for an adventure in the U.S. Army. As a helicopter mechanic stationed in Germany, he took many opportunities to travel Europe. Also deployed to the Middle East, Frank is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. During his “spare” time, Frank earned a degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Rocket scientist jokes aside, Frank was a real geek early on and dabbled with computers ever since his first Timex Sinclair at age eleven.
Frank lives in Tennessee with his lovely wife and 4 four-legged children; a basset hound, a dachshund, a toy poodle, and a black lab. They are all avid RVers. So watch out, they just may pass you by on the highway sometime.
