• Can I sort List or Matrix columns?
o Yes, just click in the column header of the grid. The rows will sort based on the values in that column.
• Why do some reports return no data?
o A combination of routes chosen as criteria can return no results. For example: a chosen date route of “Year 2005” and a region route of “Northeast” may contain no sales (or data). The trip will produce a report with no data elements, even though other regions in that year had sales.
• How do I change the colors of my graph bars and lines?
o To maintain simplicity and an easy-to-use tool, the application removes many infrequently used features. Graph formatting is not available. For more robust graphing capabilities, export the data from a List or Matrix vehicle to a spreadsheet. Use a favorite desktop spreadsheet application to recreate the specialized graphs and charts.
• Why do some of my List reports stop at 5001 records?
o The application is created for data analysis and not as a mass retrieval system. Although large amounts of data are stored within the application, retrieval across the internet and within a desktop browser can severely limit performance for all users. The application will stop pulling records after 5000 rows. If the “Show Totals” destination checkbox is checked, it will calculate the final total record to produce a report of 5001 records.
• How do I save a report?
o Export the report data to either a PDF document or a spreadsheet and save the trip to your desktop.
• How do I change my password?
o On the top menu bar, click on “Change Password.” Passwords must be 6 – 12 characters in length and contain at least one uppercase, one lowercase, and one numeric character. Passwords are valid for 120 days. After that time the user will be forced to change his/her password on the next login.
• What do I do if I forgot my password?
o For the Professional version, contact your local application administrator. He or she has the ability to reset passwords.
o For the Standard version, contact Carp Data support at support@carpdata.com.
• What browsers does the application support?
o Microsoft IE 6.x and higher, Mozilla Firefox 2.x and higher
• Why can’t I export to PDF Documents or Excel Spreadsheets?
o Set the browser’s popup blockers to allow popup windows for this website. Also, in security settings set the application’s URL as a trusted website and give it access to download files.
